About STEAM center

Klaipeda University STEAM Center has been promoting both demand and potential for the growth of sustainable blue economy sector within the Baltic Sea Region. Klaipeda University STEAM Center, located in the campus of Klaipeda University, invites all curious pupils from Lithuanian schools to get acquainted in an innovative way with the fundamentals of science as well as, by applying their creativity, try themselves in various experiential educational activities (in the fields of Natural Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Arts/All Other Sciences, and Mathematics) within the spaces of 4 STEAM laboratories. 

By performing tests and experiments independently at the laboratories, pupils will improve their thinking and problem-solving skills, learn how to focus their attention, develop the basic tactile senses, experience the joy of playing as well as strengthen the feeling of self-esteem.

By means of the synthesis of creativity between pupils and teachers, it is aimed to grow the attractiveness of lessons and the versatility of learning that will be combined with both experiential learning and the latest up-to-date technologies at Klaipeda University STEAM Center.
